The aim of this series is to take a small project idea and use it to cover various aspect of Grails and Groovy. Along the way we will cover what Groovy/Grails brings to the table including GORM, plugins, code generation, testing. No doubt we will see a lot of the good, bad and ugly of the technology as well as maybe discover a number of common issues that can be avoided. Part 2. Following on from the original post we will attempt to create the main domain class - Snippet along with associated RefData and testing.
