This post tries to describe different types of EntityManagers (JTA, resource-local, application-managed, container-managed, extended, transactional-scoped) and focuses on their usage in Java EE environment. It also describes what happens with the JTA transaction when we create EntityManager by ourselves from the EntityManagerFactory.

I love this post, very nice! One (tiny) request though; it would read a lot easier if you could pay a little attention to the usage of articles ('a' and 'the'). You're obviously not-native English (I'm neither and I also make a lot of mistakes), but this is hopefully a small thing to pay attention to and it would greatly improve your articles imho ;). Keep up the good work!

Hello Henk, Thanks a lot for your comment. I'm glad you liked the post. The grammar was never my strong point but after your comment I oblige myself to get back to books and read about articles usage. Hope I'll get better in time! :-) Thanks once again.
