First of all, please note down one important point that Javascript does not have classes as other programming laguages. It has objects and functions. Even functions are objects but for now lets take them as function itself(just to understand few concepts). The this variable always provide you an object that resembles to the current execution context. The this variable is also attached to each and every function. So there is certain value of this variable depending upon how and where you invoke the function.
