This update compares the performance for some numerical benchmarks for Sun's JVM, IBM's JVM, Excelsior JET 6.4 and 6.0, Apache Harmony M6, LLVM 2.3 and GCC.
The results show that GCC still has the best performance, followed closely by JET 6.4 and LLVM. Sun's Java 6 showed a poor performance in two of the benchmarks.
