People tend to interact with [web] application interfaces in a haphazard, verging on random way, stop them tearing their hair out with yours and start helping them achieve their goals.

While discovery surfing the other day I happened on a little bloglette which made the, quite astonishing IMHO, suggestion that if you have a form you not use it in tandem with a meta refresh tag :) Apparently the fellow had been filling in quite a long and detailed form when the meta refresh tripped.
Stuff like that just seems obvious but, wow. :)
