A simple, well-written page with a handful of prototype functions for extending javascript (nice things like comparing arrays, trimming/reversing strings, etc. 2k download file.

Note: The title of this post may be a bit misleading. The articled does not describe useful functions that come with the Prototype library. Instead, it presents an additional library which extends Prototype (in much the same way that Scriptaculous does).

Actually, this is a library which extends the base Javascript language *in the same manner that the Prototype library does* -- not extending the Prototype library in the way which Scriptaculous does. Yes, the title would have been slightly more accurate if 'Prototype' had been all lowercase.
Regardless, this looks like a useful set of functionality.

Sadly title case involves all words (or at least the big interesting ones) starting with a capital.
I'd say any blame for confusion lay with the naming of the Prototype library.
