This is a tutorial on vector algebra and matrix algebra from the viewpoint of computer graphics. It covers most vector and matrix topics needed to read college-level computer graphics text books. Most graphics texts cover these subjects in an appendix, but it is often too short. This tutorial covers the same material at greater length, and with many examples.

Is this article up here solely because it has something to do with video game development and people voted it up without even understanding what it is?
Not that this topic isn't important (it is) but this kind of information is gone over in the first chapter of almost all modern books on video game development. The beauty of it is that you almost never need to know how to do the math by hand because the methods (functions for you C++ developers) are already written for you.
