When it comes to desktop virtualization, the choices are usually VMware Workstation on Windows, or VMware Fusion / Parallels on the Mac (and a myriad of options on *nix, like VMware, qemu, bochs, etc).

I agree, wmware needs to watch out if they wish to remain dominant.

Not sure if you read the article, but the author said this of VirtualBox
"VirtualBox does look promising, but it's currently too buggy for my current requirements. I'm sure it runs Windows and Linux very well, but I don't intend to use it for those systems. Maybe I'll give it a spin again in the future, when/if those bugs related to OpenBSD are resolved"
