It seems these "PHP Security Overviews" are written on a daily basis, pretty much saying the same as every other "guide".

I appreciate and encourage these practices, but they should really add something extra to the game - something that even "veteran" PHP-developers could learn from.

All you need to know about PHP security is written in this comprehensive guide: http://phpsec.org/projects/

It is also faster to load, doesn't have any ad, is much more comprehensive, is available in various formats/languages, is written by multiple PHP experts including Chris Shifflet, etc etc. Bookmark it and don't look back.
