I see that Cedric Beust still doesn't know what he doesn't know. Here's a link to his recent presentation on language trends (PDF); reading through it, it's clear that he still has no idea what he's talking about with respect to dynamic languages.

Out of 45 slides, the guy picks two point, and doesn't really even refute them.

I thought Cedric's presentation was relatively balanced, especially compared to the one-sided rant in Robertsons blog article. The personal attack on Cedric was far less effective than if Robertson had actually provided some specific refutation to the opinions in the presentation (as dglasser mentioned). These Smalltalkers can be quite aggressive, eh? :-)
