BASIC used to be on every computer a child touched -- but today there's no easy way for kids to get hooked on programming.

The problem with these two alternatives is that they are not BASIC... What the world needs is a computer for kids that when you turn it on goes right to BASIC just like the old days. Give them the blank canvas we had!
