Ever since the news came to the surface about Spring commercial offering and their new release cycle policy a lot of people have blog about it and a majority of developers are not happy with how SpringSource is putting out there. So, the question that comes to my mind after reading all these is this “Will Spring Die ?”

Interesting article if you can get past all the spelling and grammatical flaws.

In the enterprise there are many projects JEE based and with this news it gets more strong JEE so Spring it will be just a niche or already legacy for the folks that invested on Spring.

Spring it is one vendor lock-in not a standard and lets be real Spring fucked up with the open source community.
