World’s first Supermicro 2026TT chassis
We where shipped the world’s very first Supermicro 2026TT-HIBXRF 2U Server, while the blades more or less existed before, the specialty on this configuration is that all 6 Sata channels are connected to the backplane. This enables us to use all Sata ports for LVM setups using SSDs for performance and power saving sake.

Hidden beneath the news that the title refers to, is a rather interesting other bit of news in the article: an amazing amount of IOPS obtained with just 4 SSDs in a RAID 0.
