WYSIWYG Editors are probably the most painful things to do when doing DHTML. But what very few people realizes is that they're also the one thing YOU NEVER NEED to implement. A good Ajax Library don't need "Yet Another WYSIWYG Editor" it needs a "RichEdit Surface" which your users can utilize to create their OWN WYSIWYG Editors. Building Blocks!

I must say that after Alex supplied further knowledge to me about Dojo Toolkit I must admit that they have probably also too taken the "right path" on these matters...
