Looking through the game dev tutorials here I noticed there wasn't anything that went over just the basic things of starting a project in XNA, aside from walk throughs of making a small game by one or two people. The goal of this is going to be more of a quick reference and place to start for anyone jumping into XNA for the first time. This is all pretty basic stuff, but I figured that it wouldn't hurt to have a compilation of it all here in DIC's tutorials, and that it would be a decent place to start for my first crack at a tutorial. This is going to be a multi-part thing, probably two or three as of now. I know a lot of people will be switching over to or starting with MonoGame now, so while I haven't used it before myself, I have downloaded it and will try and make sure I test everything in that as well. If I find any differences in the way things are done I will point it out and add whatever solutions I can find.
