Last week, Evan Phoenix, Wilson Bilkovich and I met up in Denver (ok, near Denver) for some serious Rubinius coding, aka a sprint. Charles Nutter (of JRuby fame) flew in just to hack with us for 15 hours straight and then flew back home. Very cool. When do you get collaboration like that from someone on a project that could be seen as a competitor?
